I recently enjoyed a brief stay at a hotel in Dubrovnik, seeking a calm escape amidst my busy life as a wildlife conservationist back in Nairobi. On arrival, the friendly staff immediately made us feel at home. The location struck a nice balance-close to the serene Lapad beach for lounging and swimming, yet only a quick bus ride to the bustling Old Town. Our room boasted a lovely balcony where we savored evening drinks. While the hotel could benefit from some refreshing updates, it served our purpose well for a one-night retreat. I particularly appreciated the spa services, especially the massage therapy, which felt like a nice treat after a long day. The sun loungers by the beach offered a perfect spot to unwind. With various restaurants nearby, dining was convenient.
